Copper alloy heat exchanger
In January 2005, LongEn ST joined the "R & D project team for Copper plate heat exchanger " which was comprised of " National Standardization Technical Committee of Boiler and Pressure Vessel", "International Copper Association" and other units. After 3 years of co-efforts, the project had entered into production promotion stage in December 2007.
Currently, Copper alloy plate heat exchanger has been widely used in fields such as geothermal utilization, marine aquaculture, desalination, offshore shipbuilding as well as waste heat utilization in the Power plant. Comparing to the titanium heat exchanger and SMO254 stainless steel heat exchanger, the heat exchange efficiency of copper alloy plate is 5% higher than the former, and the price of the former are 1.18กซ2.14 times of copper one. Therefore, as long as select a reasonable design optimization, the copper alloy plate heat exchangers would have a greater room for improvement on the heat exchanging efficiency and would be more cost-effective.
